Housing Needs Assessment Survey

One of the primary concerns for many people in Merritt is housing.

BC Wildfire Crews are going door-to-door in the flood inundation area in an attempt to survey residents about their housing needs. For those we are unable to connect with in person, we are encouraging anyone with housing issues to fill in this survey online.

Click here to fill in the “Housing Needs Assessment” survey.

Whether your home was devastated, lightly damaged, a detached house, a mobile home, a non-legal suite, or any other category, the City is asking all residents with housing issues resulting from the flood to fill in the survey. By doing so, the City of Merritt can accurately assess what interim and short-term measures should be brought into our city.

Everyone needs a roof over their head, and to ensure this is feasible, the City of Merritt needs responses from as many Merrittonians as possible.
